WELCOME TO OUR WORLD

What to Expect

It’s time to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Birdies.

With out-of-this-world cocktails to fuel your fun on the course, this unique, award-winning experiential escape is the place to perfect the peculiar and revel in the absurd.

Rest assured, the health and safety of our guests and staff is paramount during this time. We’re doing all we can to keep our playful party vibe, but there will be some noticeable differences as to how we operate. Find out more in our FAQs.

Please note, in line with government legislation, a face-covering must be worn whilst playing crazy golf or visiting the restrooms at Birdies and your group must contain members of the same household or support bubble.

About the Experience

We are thrilled to announce that Birdies has recently won the UK ‘In Another Space category’ at this year’s 2020 – Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. And there’s a reason for this – each individual hole has been carefully designed to derail the senses and put your speed, accuracy and determination to the ultimate test.

Nestled in a tunnel at Battersea Power Station, South West London’s latest experiential escape features immersive obstacles to enthral, engage and excite. Navigate through dark passages, prowl the pressure pads, roam below the towering ramps and meander through every twist and turn, but don’t let those brilliant flashes of rapid light fool you — all is not what it seems at Birdies…

Get a taste of our surreal 9-hole crazy golf course below and join us under the arches to experience the full course for yourself.

FAQ

What measures are in place to keep me safe at Birdies?

At Birdies, we’re working hard to make sure that we can reopen safely. We want you to know that the well-being and safety of our guests and staff is paramount. We are putting a number of measures in place to keep you safe. These include the following:

We’re monitoring capacity to allow for social distancing and the best possible guest experience. Due to government regulations, we will not accommodate group bookings of more than 6 people.

All customers must wear a face-covering when not seated. This means a face-covering must be worn whilst playing crazy golf or visiting the restrooms at Birdies.

Antibacterial gel will be provided for all guests entering the building. Hand sanitising stations will also be found dotted around the bar area.

The contact details of one person in your party will be collected at the door for NHS Track and Trace.

All of our team will be wearing face masks for your protection and washing their hands every 20 mins (min).

We will be operating a fully seated and hosted experience. It will be table service only.

Birdies is a cashless venue. We will only accept card payments.

Drinks takeaway will be contactless. Customers will be asked to collect their orders from our dispense area.

Please be prompt for your tee time. The venue must be empty by 10pm. Last orders will be at 9.20pm.

I have a group of over 6?

As a responsible venue, we are supporting government legislation. Please note, all parties of over 6 will not be permitted in the venue.

Existing bookings of 6 and under are not affected, existing bookings of 7+ will be contacted by a member of the team. If you have any concerns, feel free to get in touch with us.

Thank you for helping us adhere to these new guidelines and doing your part.

Are you serving food?

We are taking baby steps when it comes to fully reopening our venue and therefore we will currently not be serving food at Birdies Battersea. Please keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels, or sign up to our newsletter here and we will let you know once this changes.

What are your opening hours?

Tuesday to Friday – 3pm  – 10pm
Saturday and Sunday – 12pm  – 10pm

Is there wheelchair access?

While there is wheelchair access to the venue itself and the bar area, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate wheelchairs around the crazy golf course.

Are under 18s allowed?

Under 18s are welcome at Birdies every day before 5pm, and can play for just £5, with the final slot starting at 4pm. Birdies is predominantly a bar and crazy golf experience designed for adults. Families are welcome at Birdies before 5pm but we insist on a ratio of minimum 1 adult to 2 players under 18.

Please note that you may be asked to leave the premises if these policies are not followed.

Can I bring my dog?

We’re not totally sold on the idea of dogs being around all those golf balls, so unfortunately we do not permit dogs in our venue.

Can I get a refund?

If you are inquiring about purchased tickets which you have been unable to use due to the closure of Birdies during the outbreak of COVID 19, then please be assured that tickets will be turned into vouchers and valid for events when it is safe for Birdies to reopen. If you purchased a code through Fever, please contact them directly for a refund.

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information.

Can I transfer my ticket?

If you are inquiring about purchased tickets which you have been unable to use due to the closure of Birdies during the outbreak of COVID 19, then please be assured that tickets will be turned into vouchers and valid for events when it is safe for Birdies to reopen. If you purchased a code through Fever, please contact them directly.

How much is it?

A game of Birdies crazy golf starts from £10 (off-peak) and £12 (peak) per adult — a small price to pay for an unforgettable experience.

Little Birdies can play a round on the crazy golf course for £6 before 5pm. Birdies requests that each adult/child group contains no more than 4 players who are under 18 years of age. For groups containing 5 or more players under the age of 18, the ratio of adults to players under the age of 18 should be 2:4. Please note that you may be asked to leave the premises if these policies are not followed.

How do I get there?

Birdies is located in Circus West Village, best accessible via Grosvenor Arch. The nearest bus stop to this entrance is Battersea Park/Chelsea Gate which serves the 44, 137 and 452 bus routes.

From here, walk down the steps on the south side of Chelsea Bridge and along the river walk to Circus West Village. Look out for the directional signage to Birdies under the arches.

Battersea Power Station will soon have its own Zone 1 Underground station, but until then, the best way to reach us by train is via:

Sloane Square (Circle and District lines): A 12-minute walk via Ranelagh Gardens and Chelsea Bridge or a 5-minute bus ride on routes 452 and 137.

Victoria (Circle, District and Victoria lines): A 20-minute walk via Buckingham Palace Road, Ebury Bridge Road and Chelsea Bridge or a 10-minute bus ride on route 44.

Battersea Park Station (Southern Rail services): A 10-minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road).

Queenstown Road Station (South West Trains services): A 15-minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road).

Alternatively, you can access the Battersea Power Station site via Vauxhall (Victoria line): A 20-minute walk via Nine Elms Lane or a 5-minute bus ride via routes 156, 344 and 436. From here, cross the road to the entrance at Pump House Lane and walk along the pedestrian route to Circus West Road (10 minutes).

How long does the game last?

A game of Birdies crazy golf lasts approximately 35-40 minutes — depending on your speed, accuracy and determination, of course. Playing times may vary but we won’t rush you on the course.

Do I need to book in advance?

While we do accept walk-ins, we sell all of our ticket allocations online, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your slot.

Is there parking?

Guests are able to park at the at Battersea Power Station site, located under the Phase 1 building. Parking is charged on an hourly basis and can be accessed from Battersea Park Road.

Are you open on Bank Holidays?

Monday blues? There’s no such thing in the wonderful world of Birdies. We’re open on all Bank Holiday Mondays.

What is the maximum number of people that can play on one time slot?

Due to the treacherous, meandering and obstacle-ridden nature of our course, 6 players are permitted on the course every 20 minutes. We insist on a ratio of a minimum 1 adult to 2 players under 18 at all times.

If I book less than the maximum number of people, will I have to play/share holes with others?

No — you’ll always be able to play with your team.

How many people can play at once?

Tee-off times are at sixteen-minute intervals and we allow up to 6 people per slot.
