WELCOME TO OUR WORLD

What to Expect

Welcome to Birdies, a cocktail bar and crazy golf experience in Battersea.

If the thought of miniature windmills makes you shudder and artificial grass putts you off your play, it’s time to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Birdies.

With world-class food from Taco-Yaki and out-of-this-world cocktails to fuel your fun on the course, London’s newest experiential escape is the place to perfect the peculiar and revel in the absurd.

About the Experience

Each individual hole has been carefully designed to derail the senses and put your speed, accuracy and determination to the ultimate test.

Nestled in a tunnel at Battersea Power Station, South West London’s latest experiential escape features immersive obstacles to enthral, engage and excite. Navigate through dark passages, prowl the pressure pads, roam below the towering ramps and meander through every twist and turn, but don’t let those brilliant flashes of rapid light fool you — all is not what it seems at Birdies…

Get a taste of our surreal 9-hole crazy golf course below and join us under the arches to experience the full course for yourself.

How much is it?

A game of Birdies crazy golf starts from £10 (off-peak) and £12 (peak) per adult — a small price to pay for an unforgettable experience.

Little Birdies can play a round on the crazy golf course for £6 before 5pm. Birdies requests that each adult/child group contains no more than 4 players who are under 18 years of age. For groups containing 5 or more players under the age of 18, the ratio of adults to players under the age of 18 should be 2:4. Please note that you may be asked to leave the premises if these policies are not followed.

How do I get there?

Birdies is located in Circus West Village, best accessible via Grosvenor Arch. The nearest bus stop to this entrance is Battersea Park/Chelsea Gate which serves the 44, 137 and 452 bus routes.

From here, walk down the steps on the south side of Chelsea Bridge and along the river walk to Circus West Village. Look out for the directional signage to Birdies under the arches.

Battersea Power Station will soon have its own Zone 1 Underground station, but until then, the best way to reach us by train is via:

Sloane Square (Circle and District lines): A 12-minute walk via Ranelagh Gardens and Chelsea Bridge or a 5-minute bus ride on routes 452 and 137.

Victoria (Circle, District and Victoria lines): A 20-minute walk via Buckingham Palace Road, Ebury Bridge Road and Chelsea Bridge or a 10-minute bus ride on route 44.

Battersea Park Station (Southern Rail services): A 10-minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road).

Queenstown Road Station (South West Trains services): A 15-minute walk from the entrances by Chelsea Bridge or at Pump House Lane (off Battersea Park Road).

Alternatively, you can access the Battersea Power Station site via Vauxhall (Victoria line): A 20-minute walk via Nine Elms Lane or a 5-minute bus ride via routes 156, 344 and 436. From here, cross the road to the entrance at Pump House Lane and walk along the pedestrian route to Circus West Road (10 minutes).

Can I bring my own food and drink?

As we’ve tried to ensure everyone is catered for, complete with gluten-free and vegan options, we do not permit outside food or drinks at Birdies.

If you have a food intolerance that we do not currently accommodate, please let us know via [email protected].

How long does the game last?

A game of Birdies crazy golf lasts approximately 35-40 minutes — depending on your speed, accuracy and determination, of course. Playing times may vary but we won’t rush you on the course.

Do you cater for large parties?

We’re always up for a party, so whether you’re booking a meeting or a big birthday bash, email us at [email protected] for groups of 12+ people and we’ll work with you to create a bespoke food, drinks and games package tailored to your celebration.

If you’d just like to book a game of crazy golf for a larger group, please note that we allow up to 12 people per booking, so if your party exceeds 12, you will need to book 2 tee times in succession.

While we do welcome families before 5pm, we insist on a ratio of minimum 1 adult to 2 children under 18. Depending on the size of your group, we may be unable to facilitate a booking with a large number of under 18s. Please note we do not cater for children’s parties.

Can I hire the venue?

With a maximum capacity of 200 people and plenty of food platters and drink packages on offer, our weird and wonderful tunnel can be yours for a day. You can enquire about full private hires via [email protected]

Do I need to book in advance?

While we do accept walk-ins, we sell all of our ticket allocations online, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your slot.

Is there parking?

Guests are able to park at the at Battersea Power Station site, located under the Phase 1 building. Parking is charged on an hourly basis and can be accessed from Battersea Park Road.

Are you open on Bank Holidays?

Monday blues? There’s no such thing in the wonderful world of Birdies. We’re open on all Bank Holiday Mondays.

What is the maximum number of people that can play on one time slot?

Due to the treacherous, meandering and obstacle-ridden nature of our course, 6 players are permitted on the course every 10 minutes. We insist on a ratio of a minimum 1 adult to 2 players under 18 at all times.

If I book less than the maximum number of people, will I have to play/share holes with others?

No — you’ll always be able to play with your team.

Can I set up a tab?

Maximise your time on the course and set up a tab for all your drink orders. Simply provide our bar staff with the card to be charged and a valid form of ID — we’ll handle the rest.

Can I pre order food?

If you have made a table booking with us, we are able to take food preorders. We require food orders for any group of 6 or more and we may need a 50% deposit of your order depending on your group size.

Please email us at [email protected] or give us a call to preorder your food.

Can I reserve a table?

While we operate a first-come-first-served basis on all tall bar tables, we are happy to reserve a table for your group to sit and eat at. We can facilitate reservations for 1 hour prior to your booking.

Please email us at [email protected] or give us a call to reserve a table.

While we do welcome families before 5pm, we insist on a ratio of minimum 1 adult to 2 children under 18. Depending on the size of your group, we may be unable to facilitate a booking with a large number of under 18s.

How many people can play at once?

Tee-off times are at ten-minute intervals and we allow up to 6 people per slot — so if your party exceeds 6, you will need to book 2 tee times in succession. Up to 36 players are allowed on the course at any given time.
